Months ago, my friend Cory Weeds asked me if I would produce a recording he was planning with the legendary pianist Harold Mabern. Well, the time has come, and here we are at Joby Baker’s studio in beautiful Victoria, BC. The guys are ripping through the tunes like they have an early ferry to catch!
I wish I could describe how good Harold sounds on this C3 Yamaha piano. And well Joe Farnsworth and John Webber play with Harold Mabern. You’ll have to wait till the CD comes out!
